Mixing plush, soft furnishings with more coarse and rough materials is a fantastic way to make your space feel multidimensional. Our favourite trend this season is natural, hessian inspired fabrics. Not only does this look beautiful for carpets and upholstery, but it's also a high quality, low cost material that is incredibly hardwearing. Hessian style materials are even used in construction to support brickwork and buildings as its such a strong and long lasting fabric! If your commercial space is getting a lot of footfall it is important to ensure you have materials that will stand the test of time, and also be relatively easy to clean and maintain. Practicalities aside, we simply love the look of hessian style materials mixed with other materials. It's incredibly versatile and can be paired with anything from simple white linens, to bold colourful velvets! Whatever your aesthetic is, theres something that can work for you.
